Well they are (or did, can't remember) but it's Japanese. Kind of a weird property to jump over the shores. Anyway, it is directed by Miike, who makes rather entertaining and crazy films. There are plans for an international release but not anytime soon so I guess downloading or buying a Japanese version are your options if you really want to see it, or be patient and grab it on dvd.
